Mary Ellen - Rockford, IL

I went from being scared and concerned for our futures, to gaining an abundance of joy, a second family, peace of mind, and being surrounded by love and support. I am able to remain in my child's life and have the opportunity to continue with my life goals after placement.  Adoption is always an option and in my case, it was the best decision for both of us!

Janelle - Kokomo, IN

I am 22 years old and I placed my daughter in 2016. Some days are harder than others, but I believe it was the best decision for both of us. I want to advocate for you and give you guidance when you need it! We are birth mom strong! We are all in this together - nobody should be left behind!

Mellisa - South Bend, IN

I placed my son 18 years ago. Never have I regretted my decision to place my son for adoption, even though it was the hardest thing I have ever done. It has made me a stronger and better person. Adoption for me has not been the end of something but the beginning of a beautiful and bittersweet journey. Mellisa leads a support group in South Bend.

Mattie.jpg

Mattie - Louisville, KY

My name is Mattie Pérez and I placed in August of 2012! I have an open adoption relationship, I am married to a wonderfully loving, god-fearing man, and I attend college in Kentucky. I am studying Spanish, and my husband and I hope to serve as missionaries after grad-school! After placement, my heart was heavy and I felt as though I no longer fit anywhere. Out of these ruins the Lord revealed to me that nothing I do will ever be good enough- it is only by the blood of Jesus that I can enter the throne-room of grace. My prayer for birth mothers is that they would trust the Lord with their unique story, and rest in the truth that it is by grace alone we are justified!

Becca - Boston, MA

I am 26 years old and currently reside in Boston but love to travel and have lived in Hawaii, Asia and Europe! I am a birth mom to an adorable boy and placed almost 8 years ago. I am hoping that every birth mom in New England knows that they are not alone and that we are strong and courageous. We are all in need of community with fellow Birth Moms for we have special, unique and beautiful stories. I desire for the voice of Birth Moms to be heard more along with a deeper knowledge of our Savior’s love.
